I believe meaningful change begins when we feel truly seen, heard, and understood.

 

As a psychotherapist, researcher, lecturer, and author, my work is centred on helping people understand themselves more deeply, heal from emotional pain, and create meaningful change in their lives. I support individuals who may be experiencing anxiety, low self-esteem, relationship difficulties, stress, life transitions, emotional overwhelm, or repeating patterns that feel difficult to break.

 

My approach is warm, compassionate, and deeply human. I understand that seeking therapy can feel daunting, especially when you are opening up about personal experiences, painful emotions, or parts of yourself that may have been hidden for a long time. My aim is to create a safe, confidential, and non-judgmental space where you can speak openly, feel supported, and begin to make sense of what you are carrying.

 

I do not believe in a one-size-fits-all approach to therapy. Every person has their own story, shaped by their experiences, relationships, culture, challenges, strengths, and hopes for the future. Together, we will work at a pace that feels right for you, exploring patterns, building self-awareness, developing practical tools, and strengthening your emotional resilience.

 

Alongside my clinical work, I am actively involved in research and higher education, which allows me to stay connected to current developments in psychology, psychotherapy, and mental health. This combination of therapeutic practice, research, and teaching enables me to bring both evidence-based knowledge and genuine human understanding into the work I do with clients.

 

I am also the author of The Child Behind Your Patterns: Healing Your Inner Child, Breaking Old Cycles, and Building Self-Worth. This book reflects a central theme in my work: that many of the patterns we struggle with today were once ways of protecting ourselves. The part of you that you may have been fighting could be the part that once helped you survive, cope, or feel safe.

 

Through my therapy, research, teaching, and writing, my aim is not only to help people overcome difficulties, but to support them in developing a deeper understanding of themselves, building healthier relationships, and creating a life that feels more balanced, authentic, and fulfilling.

 

I believe everyone has the capacity for growth and change. Sometimes, we simply need the right space, support, and understanding to discover it.
