I believe that every person is unique. We each have different personalities, life experiences, emotional needs, strengths, and ways of understanding the world. For this reason, I do not believe that one therapeutic method can work in exactly the same way for everyone.

My approach is integrative and personalised. Rather than asking a client to fit into a fixed model of therapy, I tailor the therapeutic process to the individual. Depending on the client’s personality, goals, experiences, and current challenges, I may draw from a combination of Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), schema therapy, psychoanalytic approaches, and hypnotherapy.

CBT can help clients recognise and change unhelpful patterns of thinking and behaviour. Schema therapy allows us to explore deeper emotional patterns and unmet needs that may have developed earlier in life. Psychoanalytic approaches can help uncover unconscious feelings, conflicts, and experiences that continue to influence the present. Where appropriate, hypnotherapy may also be used to support relaxation, emotional exploration, and positive change.

However, I believe that therapy should extend beyond the therapy room. Mental health is shaped and experienced within our everyday environments—through our routines, relationships, work, boundaries, habits, and the way we care for ourselves. This is why I often provide clients with personalised reflections, exercises, and practical activities to use between sessions.

My aim is not simply to give advice or provide temporary solutions. I want each client to develop a deeper understanding of themselves and gain the knowledge and tools they need to make healthier, more intentional choices in their everyday lives.

Over time, we work together to create a unique wellbeing toolkit—or personal “health stack”—that reflects the individual’s personality, lifestyle, values, emotional needs, and goals. This may include psychological tools, healthier routines, emotional regulation practices, stronger boundaries, self-awareness, and more supportive ways of relating to themselves and others.

I am here to guide and support each person as they discover what genuinely works for them, build confidence in their own understanding, and design a healthier and more meaningful way of living.
